This tutorial came about last week when I searched Etsy for some last minute birthday gifts. I found the cutest paper dolls! Unfortunately, I didn’t have time to buy them and have it shipped in time for her birthday.

The first step was to create the bunting. I enjoy soldering and had all of the supplies so I went with glass, but it could certainly be created with nice fabrics, lace, or even paper.

I don’t know about you, but lately I have been joining various sites for a number of reasons. Recently I joined a site that provided a badge, but the image code the site generated for the badge would not download properly for either of my blogs. I had to figure it out and here’s what I discovered.

Try to find an area with open ocean that gets big waves. Rocky beaches hold the glass better then sandy ones that can pull the glass right back out to sea.
