While many of the artists in town sell their creations on Etsy, they each also have their own brand and story to tell. That's why we created CraftLaunch--to help Etsy sellers express themselves online by creating beautiful websites that complement their stores.

Compliment Your Etsy Shop With a Custom Website

Austin, Texas is mainly known for three things: live music, barbecue, and the thousands of bats that fly out from under the Congress Street bridge every night. What people may not know is that it also boasts a vibrant crafting community.

While many of the artists in town sell their creations on Etsy, they each also have their own brand and story to tell. That’s why we created CraftLaunch–to help Etsy sellers express themselves online by creating beautiful websites that complement their stores. CraftLaunch allows you to easily build a customized web site that will automatically feature your Etsy listings. So you get the best of both worlds: a dedicated website that builds your brand and tells your story, and Etsy’s fantastic platform for selling merchandise! Since we focus exclusively on the Etsy community, we take great care to make sure that CraftLaunch works seamlessly with your store.

Unlike other online store products, CraftLaunch doesn’t require you to manage your inventory in two places–your site automatically updates itself whenever you add, sell or change an item in your Etsy store. We *never* charge listing fees or take a percentage of your sales, and customers don’t have to have a CraftLaunch account to buy items. They add items to their cart on CraftLaunch, and when they’re ready to check out, they are taken back to the Etsy site to finish their purchase. No extra hassle for you! Using CraftLaunch is easy. You don’t need a lot of technical expertise to build a site.

Start with one of our professionally-designed templates, then take advantage of our easy-to-use tools to customize your site and make it your own–choose your color palette, add photos, and make new pages for your bio, retail locations, custom orders, and more! You can even hook up your Facebook, Twitter and other social-media accounts to CraftLaunch to give customers even more ways to get to know you and talk about your products. CraftLaunch charges a flat monthly fee of $14.95 which gives you unlimited pages and Etsy listings plus hosting, design templates, Google Analytics integration and search engine optimization.

We invite you all to sign up for a free 15-day trial (no credit card required) by going to http://www.craftlaunch.com/handmadeology. If you decide to keep your site after your trial is over, enter the coupon code HANDMADEOLOGY during checkout to get your first month FREE!

  1. This is great & I love, love, love the idea! I am new to etsy & have wanted to start a website of my own for some time, but find the whole thing overwhelming.

I have some questions that I didn’t see answers to on your site…

Do you have to link your page to your ETSY, or can people make purchases directly from the site?

    Also…

Does everything have to be handmade? I have an ETSY that is 100% handmade items. But I am in the beginning stages of starting another business that offers a mix of handmade & mass produced items. Just wondering if I could kill 2 birds w/ 1 stone w/ your site.

    Thanks!

  2. Great questions!

Your customers will be able to browse, shop and add items to their cart on CraftLaunch. When they’re ready to check out, they are taken to Etsy to complete their purchase. You can check out some examples at http://www.craftlaunch.com/examples/.

As long as you can list your items on Etsy, we can pull them into your CraftLaunch site!
