  1. I tried a newsletter for just over a year, offering discounts, previews, etc. I had very few sign-ups. Thanks to the service I used and adore, Mail Chimp, I could see even less subscribers actually opening the newsletter.

    I realized, I was wasting way too much time on content potential and current customs would rather see via a blog, facebook, twitter, flickr etc.

  2. I recommend (free for smaller users) which not only keeps track of how many people are on your mailing list, but which subscribers open the newsletter. They even have an Etsy Template and easy to input your info.
