Create More Time To Create With Shop Marketing Helper| New Social Media Marketing App For Etsy Sellers
As a creative business owner, you need time to make the orders you have coming in. You also need time to be creative and develop new products to keep your shop fresh and your customers coming back. The question that I hear the most from Etsy sellers is, “How do you find the time to promote and market your shop and still create?” Social media marketing is crucial to the growth of your Etsy business, but it can take up a large portion of your day to day tasks and can take way from your creative design time. Imagine having enough time to promote and market your Etsy shop and still have time to create! There is a new Etsy app that just came on the scene called the Shop Marketing Helper that will help Etsy sellers save time by scheduling all their social media marketing efforts.
Check out this video walk through I recorded! It shows off all the amazing features of Shop Marketing Helper.
Shop Marketing Helper gives you the ability to fully customize your posts. Pull info straight from your listing to save time or customize
Shop Marketing Helper is connected right to your Etsy shop, so promoting is quick and easy!
Here is a post right on my Fan Page wall that I scheduled using Shop Marketing Helper. Notice the use of the picture, title, price, and description. This post is already optimized for your fans.
Here is a post that I scheduled on Twitter. Notice the nice clean tweet and the use of the Etsy link that add the picture preview when you are viewing via Twitter.

I’m sold already! (just signed up haha) I’ve been trying to use a few different sites/programs to do this, but none of them are really easy or user-friendly and certainly don’t let me schedule posts ahead of time. This feature alone is totally worth the $8/month! This site also includes all the biggest networks I use. I love all the videos he provides, and have watched quite a few already. This is such a great service for us Etsy sellers that have more fun creating than promoting
Thanks so much for this article, otherwise I might have never found such a great service! (:

I gotta check this out. I’ve been using Hootsuite, but this one sounds more user friendly.

If you’re on a stricter budget, HootSuite is great. Even though it’s not connected to your Etsy shop, it doesn’t take very long to post updates- so don’t think that you’re going to save a ton of time any money by paying for a service when you can get a very similar service for free. Actually, to maintain your audience, you should be posting more than links to buy your stuff. Only ever posting links to your shop items can make you come off as a pushy salesman and you could start to lose followers.

they are two different services and I’ve tried both – this app is worth more then $8/month and its way easier to use then hootsuite too.

Yes people can post a lot more then just links indeed, thats a good tip. I purposely left out certain abilities to avoid this becoming a “spammers dream” its really designed for more personal promotions in the first place.

@sarah
I dont know I used HootSuite before using shop marketing helper and I notice a huge difference in time. I can see saving at least a few hours a month and my time is certainly worth more than $2/hour.
Besides, you can post coupons items or announcements with the app so it’s not like you have to bombard your customers with items..
Jut my two cents!

Yes, it looks great, but I dislike that I had to enter my name and email address before I was shown the price. Sketchy salesmanship.

This is a great app, and I got 3 sales this week plus a bunch of inquiries, all – or at least most – of which I believe came through the app. So i am very happy! The only thing I am confused about is the timing – I am based in indonesia. I understood that the app has USA time, which is fine for me as most of my clients are there. But when I post something for one day at 6pm, its coming for the next day at 6am, or something like that – can’t get my head around it – not sure if I have to post at the real time here or the real time there – and would appreciate some clarification
