Thanks for the information. Still patiently waiting for the catalogue making app for my Etsybitems!
I am interested in trying this app but would love the possibility to schedule Pinterest pinning as well. Is that a feature that will be available in the future with the Promoetsy app?
/Maria
Hi Maria,
Yes we are patiently waiting for Pinterest to open their api back up to developers and programers. Once they do Pinterest will be an available feature!
I get a warning to not use this app since it came from an email. How do I know that you are trustworthy?
Where is this warning coming from? Your email provider? If you are worried about the trustworthyness of Handmadeology, please take a look at your feed back on Etsy. HERE
No, the warning came from Etsy. I clicked on the Promotesy link above, then clicked on the link on the Promotesy site itself, and here’s what I got:
The application Promotesy is trying to connect to your account.
You should be seeing this message because you’re using an Etsy App. If you didn’t come to this page through an Etsy App, or if you followed a link in an email or chat, close this window now.
Yes, You came to that page from an Etsy app.
Thank you for taking the time to clear that up for me. I don’t know what I’m doing half the time. I just erased my entire blog post by pressing ctrl-z.
Hi there, so I must say that I was impressed with the apology that you guys posted about the other similar app and all the problems there were with it. I was one of the unfortunate shop owners that tried it and liked it at first, but yes you spoke the truth about how it went down hill very fast. I was interested in your app when I first saw it, but after being burned with the last one I wasn’t sure if I wanted to try it again.
I will say that I am reconsidering it after your post. I do have a question, I have 2 etsy shops that I would need it for and my husband has a shop as well, but we use one business account (at the moment) is this going to cause a conflict? That was where things went nuts with the last program, then it just went down hill from there.
Thanks
Thanks Tammy! Send me an email tim@handmadeology.com and we will figure this one out.
i also was on the last one that did this and i loved it, will you be adding the ability to post to our blogs as well,? that was a rocking program, till it didn’t work any longer….i too am skeptical about jumping again, but you have such a high rep in my life that i am going to trust you Tim, and try it!! i look forward to adding the pinterest and blog feature?! please?
Hey Kim! Yes we are waiting tor Pinterest to reopen their api…. and blog posting will be the next phase. Thanks for being a long time reader and fan!
Ditto to all of the above. I received sales from the other app…. Please have the blog feature!
I’m having issues with the app. The time zone is not working properly. Maybe it’s because I just signed up. Can someone help me, please?
