  1. Just what EVERY Etsian needs. Fabulous. Once again Handmadeology is bringing us cutting edge technology info.
    Thanks Tim.

  2. Thanks for the tutorial, Tim. However, I didn’t really like the results. The contrast between the white and the dark is too stark, Also, it is very difficult to get a ‘feel’ for the metal from these photos. The nuances in the metal ‘shades’ are completely lost.

Love your site, Tim! Learning a ton!

    Thank you!

  3. Interesting new app. I’ll have to see how it works out. I have several programs that I like to use, they’re all free, but each has its own limitations. I like the connection to Etsy. Thanks for letting us know about this new app.

  4. Coco, what is your username. This should not be the case. There might be an issue on our end causing this to happen.

  5. Was your username hemlockhollow? I think your highlight was just a little off. I reprocessed your photo on my account with a different highlight: http://fotofuze.com/~efcd71bf

  6. I’m in love with this tool! If I click Publish after I correct a photo, will it update my Etsy listing or do I have to save it to my computer and add it manually add it to my listing?

  7. Oh wow! I am finally getting back to this post. Off to try out this photo editor, Thanks so much!

  8. Oh bummer – guess I need to upgrade to google chrome first. Okay will be back another time.

  9. Cool! Thank you so much for the valuable info..as always :)

  10. This is a very helpful information I’ve used it on a couple of pictures in my shop and I’m starting to get a feel for it. The pictures that I used it on I like them I don’t think I would want to use it on all of my images but for the ones that I’ve chosen to try it on I like.

    Thanks again Tim

  11. Oh, I’m terribly excited to check this out. Thanks once more for helping everyone out with such useful tips.

  12. I think fotofuze can be a great help, although, you have to have a white background, as you mention in the tutorial. My photos tend to be outside with a background. I’m still very curious and think I’ll take a few white background shots to play with. thanks again, Tim.

  13. aww I was excited to try this until you said “white or black background”. my backgrounds are gray. :-( I have a good lightbox with a gray background and a blue one. oh well

    • So update on that; I forgot about fotofuze and this tutorial, and then found fotofuze again and tried it. It works fine with my gray backdrop but I’d rather have a black background, so I wish we could choose what color we want it edited to. Other than that I like the program.

  14. I love FotoFuze; I redid my whole shop!

  15. oh yes! im excited to check this out- i am constantly editting in one program, and then opening it up in another one to finish it off.

  16. i love foto fuze! it has been the answer to my prayers and i used it most of my photos

  17. I’ve used this on my entire site. Overall it’s been great with a few exceptions. I needed to turn off the auto crop and the program changes the text in the descriptions. Fotofuse tried to fix it for me but I’m still having the problem. I just know to check my text carefully. Other than that, my photos look 100% better.

  18. It seems very useful, I want to try it…

  19. Thanks so much, once again, for helping us tweek our shops to there fullest potential! I cant wait to use this app. I also appreciate your clarity in explaining it in the video

  20. Can this be used in an ipad

  21. I don’t know what I would do without you guys!
