This is so simple but, frankly any cooking is too complicated for me. I burn toast and popcorn. I’d rather buy it as a done deal. (not the toast) Other people have done it and ironed out all the mistakes that I would make. I think I’ll stick to buying other artists tasty treats.

Great idea. I would however avoid using a Teflon pan as they can leach chemicals into the mixture. Also I would avoid putting hot oil into plastic containers, again for fear of leaching chemicals into the balm. They are not designed for heat. Why not keep your homemade products as pure as possible?
