Kiersten owner of Mod Mom Furniture plans on using the money to expand her production of her awesome handmade furniture. She is teaming up with an Amish furniture manufacturer in Ohio. L&J Woodworking is about 30 mins from where I live. I may have to pay them a visit!
After years of building every order by hand in my workshop, I’m excited to announce that I recently partnered with L&J Woodworking, an Amish furniture manufacturer from my home state of Ohio. As always, the designs you love will be made by hand right here in the United States using eco-friendly materials and heirloom quality construction techniques. This partnership allows Mod Mom Furniture to better serve retailers and consumers through shorter lead times, increased production, impeccable quality, and new modern designs such as play tables, beds, dressers, and rocking chairs.
Update on Kiersten’s blog:
I woke up this morning completely overwhelmed with emotion and love for all the amazing feedback, emails, posts, tweets, articles, orders I’ve been receiving since last night. I think I’ll be tearing up on and offer for DAYS.
The next thing that went through my head was “I wore a tool belt and 4 in heels on national TV.” And then I remembered the “in the garage” shots and started dying laughing. I promise to always enter my workshop that way from now on! :) If you haven’t seen the show yet, go to http://www.hulu.com/watch/229043/shark-tank-week-2
So the question is… How would you spend the 90,000?
