Thanks Tim! I occasionally change up the key words in my title a bit and watch google analytics to see the effect over a month. The time I added pottery to my description I actually started selling more of my ornament pots, so it is an effective way to get people into the shop.

Awesome Linda…. My advice is to find what is working for your shop and leave it. Each time your change your title Google has to look at your site again and place you.

Good tips, Please work on the Audio. I had to replay 4 times to get the 4th area for keywords. Off to my site to make changes.

This is super helpful. I plan to watch the entire series. My only issue is that I could not figure out how to check for my keywods in google.
I’m three months old on etsy and would greatly appreciated a review of my shop.
Thanks Kelly

Thanks Tim I thought I was supposed to be going for 9000 searches a month for some reason, no wonder I don’t get any views!

Heather.. this is just one of my examples. 9000 is not a set number, it was just another example I used in that specific tutorial.

Please explain what the letters SEO stand for! I have no idea what you’re trying to explain. The audio in this video is terrible.

Barbara, SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization … I am not sure why the audio is so bad on your computer. I have also posted the youtube version , which may solve the issue.

Spot on info for how to integrate keywords. When putting them in the listing, do you have to actually work them into the description or can you just create a keywords listing paragraph with keyword phrases separated by commas at the bottom of your description?
I would also appreciate a shop critique:)Planning on making individual sections for each style I make. And I’d like to improve photos with better lighting etc when I can make a few sales and have some capitol to reinvest. Thanks!

You need to work them in to the description. Never place a comma separated paragraph full of keywords in a listing.
