Social Media Blitz – FREE 5-Day Ecourse (2,000 + Signed Up!!)

social media blitz

Being an Etsy seller I know how hard it is to get any views from just listing your items on Etsy.  Marketing your Etsy items outside Etsy is a must in these days.  I am excited to share this free ecourse with Etsy sellers , because I have been using these 10 steps for years and I have seen great results.  I have increased my traffic to my blog and Etsy shop, moved up in the Google ranking, and have even seen my customer base grow.

If you are ready to learn how to decrease the amount of time you spend promoting your Etsy items and at the same time maximize your results, the Social Media Blitz 5-day ecourse is just for you!

(Remember, Handmadeology will never sell or abuse your email address—I hate spam as much as you do).

What others are  saying about our Ecourse:

Katherine DaSilva There is so much information here it’s hard to believe that it’s free. I am constantly looking for information on how I can improve my Etsy shop and get more traffic and sales and this is the first time someone has laid it all out in plain English. I have no doubt that if I follow the plan that Tim has laid out for me I will see improvement. He gives you the keys you just have to follow them and be consistent. I really needed this. Thanks so much!

Nancy Welchon I am very happy and excited! I am on page 1 of the Google search for one of my items!!!! I’ve only been using Social Media Blitz this week and did my 10 steps for my “Skeleton Key Necklace” only two days ago. I am at the bottom of page one! I don’t show up for “Lucky Penny Charm” or “Swarovski Lariat Necklace” and probably won’t.
Thank you very much for the Handmadeology website and all that you do for us.

GrapeVine Ceramics and Gifts If you haven’t signed up DO! – I’ve just tested it on my first item and the results were AMAZING! I had 62 views in less than twelve hours. I usually get 15 a day for a new listing. It took a while to go through all the steps but I can see it getting much faster as I go on.

Jewelry by Nala Thanks for sharing your Internet marketing experience and expertise with the rest of us, Tim. Your common sense approach is straight forward and strategically sound. I’m already doing some of the things you recommend and plan to implement the rest of your suggestions with my next new listing.
Thanks once again for the Handmadeology Social Media Blitz Five Day eCourse … ;)

Jenelle Montilone I just finished up my 5 days, and as always there 1s a wealth of great info and tips along the way! Thank you so much!

Eileen Grobeck I’m in the middle of doing this right now – it’s been so helpful! thank you yet again Handmadeology for making this available to us struggling Etsians!

Brenda Thour Thank you so much Tim! It’s incredible how much I am learning that I did not know. Thanks again!

Melanie Cronyn this was an awesome ecourse. Tim took what seemed like a very overwhelming list of things to do and removed the fear & loathing that can sometimes go hand-in-hand with marketing and social media. I’m actually excited to put into place everything I’ve learned. thanks for making things easier – I am always amazed at the things I learn from you Tim! You are a wealth of information in the true sense! thank you!

Judy Goddard I started my internet sales adventure exactly 3 years ago. My number one problem was effective marketing. I read every book I could I find and became more and more confused as I read on in each book. I am a very linear thinker. Too many options just left me reeling!
What I needed was someone to tell me,
“Follow these steps”

Thank you Tim!
I have completed the email tutorials and have begun to implement the steps. This makes sense and I’m feeling really good about it !

Warm Regards,

Tim Adam (Handmadeology.com & TimothyAdamDesigns)

  4. Tim, Hi I met you several years ago when you started Etsy Secrets and Handmadeology. Everywhere I look, I find your name and it’s nice to see how successful you are. I’m glad your still helping others achieve success on their etsy sites. I’ve been out of the craft business world for awhile due to caring for my mother with Alzheimers. WIth her passing, I’m able to jump in the deep end and get my business on the map. I could use your updated tips on etsy business success. Thanks again.

  7. thanks tim – really appreciate you telling us what you do. {:-Deb

  8. Thanks Tim! I follow you and admire your drive. I have actually made a few sales on Etsy in 3 months of being there so I am encouraged. I worked my butt off on Artfire for nearly a year (and paid for a pro shop too), with 0 sales… Lesson learned!

Tim always look forward to readingmyour articles. Thanks for this. I really need it!

  10. Thanks! Just signed up.

  11. Thanks — looking forward to the 5-day course!

  12. I would like to sign up for your 5 day course but the link doesn’t seem to be working.

  13. Will you be sending one everyday because I only received an email yesterday (not today)?

  14. Does anyone have a copy of the PDF from Day 1 of the Social Media Blitz, & if so, would you email it to me? I accidentally deleted mine :(

  15. Thanks Tim I appreciate you sharing your wisdom with us!

  16. Thanks Tim for your hard work putting this together, and being kind enough to share it! I’ve gotten all 5 days, and read through, and it all makes sense…You get back what you give!

  17. I found this helpful. I had never heard of some of these sites, like Stumble. Thanks for the help!

  18. Tim, you are awesome! I just completed the 5 day Social Media Blitz, and I learned soooo much! I’ve had an Etsy shop since 2007, but have never effectively been able to market it. I have only spent 2 days using the tips outlined in the e-course, and I can already see a dramatic jump in views. I’m excited to keep it going, and now my blog won’t be neglected anymore.
Thanks for all of your knowledge. I read everything you publish, and with this course and your book I have learned how to finally get my shop out there. ^_^

  19. Thanks very much! This has been helpful and have run into other helpful ecourses and downloads of articles along the way. Thanks Tim!

  20. Thanks so much for this! The course was incredibly helpful. I’m planning on opening my Etsy shop soon and with the exception of a Facebook page that I barely ever use, social media is completely alien to me. Having said that, I know that I need to embrace it! I really appreciate the virtual handholding and I continue to wait eagerly for your ‘How to Make Money Using Etsy’ book to make its way across the seas to me, here in Australia.

  21. Thanks for sharing your Internet marketing experience and expertise with the rest of us, Tim. Your common sense approach is straight forward and strategically sound. I’m already doing some of the things you recommend and plan to implement the rest of your suggestions with my next new listing.
Thanks once again for the Handmadeology Social Media Blitz Five Day eCourse … ;)

  22. Tim thanks for the class It was great. You really made it all fit together and seem doable. I have always felt overwhelmed before.

Quick question do you post on you facebook fan page or personal page?
If fan page is there a way to do that from the link in etsy?

    Thanks again
    Barb

  23. Tim,
Thank you for the 5 day workshop. I have been working to put it together. I am looking forward to watching things work, see things pick up and not spending hours trying to figure out what the heck I am doing on these sites. I can see how things are working together. Thank you again,
    Kimberly

  24. Tim,
Thank you for the 5 day work shop, for sharing
    the great,great,great info.
    Daniela

  25. Great course Tim. Loads of valuable information explained in a clear and simple way. Very helpful. Will be using the steps regularly.

  26. Thank you. You’ve given me the tools I need to make my shop successful and I’m sincerely grateful.

  27. sounds exciting! thanks for doing this. will share with my twitter followers and other artist friends!

  28. Thank you Tim, lots of useful strategies in this course. Blogging and Twittering are things I haven’t felt comfortable trying so far, maybe I’ll take the leap. I have some concern with bombarding my FB friends more than I already do…

    • That’s why you have a fan page. Your fan page is for your Etsy business, and this is where you should be talking about what is going on with your business. You can share links on your personal profile, but I would limit this.

  29. Thank you Tim! You’re awesome!

What a wonderful way to create backlinks without spending too much time.

I encountered a problem with Pinterest. Apparently they have a waiting list and I couldn’t sign up. Other than that everything went smoothly

  30. I finished my e-course yesterday. It’s great and if for some reason you don’t know if you should sign up for a FREE class, then let me tell you yes. You can even read my review of the class here: http://sundayafternoonhousewife.com/handmadeologys-social-media-blitz/

Thanks for a great e-course Tim!

  31. Signed up! Always MORE, more, more to learn each and every day.
I’m reading your book! Fabulous stuff!

  32. I have only done HALF of the ulitmate “social blitz” attack and I already see marked traffic flow.
Thank you SO much for these awesome and extremely useful tips!
    -Heather

  33. Thank you so much for this very generous sharing of information. I am slow to digest it but It will come in handy as I’m opening a new section in my shop soon.
My traffic flow has increased already and I’ve only gotten as far as twitter and facebook.
    Thanks a million.

  34. I have a question about the facebook fan page. I read your answer to someone about limiting posting links on personal profile pages. I haven’t completed my fan page yet but i wonder about getting people to see it once it’s done, the same method we’re using here?

  35. Thanks, Tim, you are awesome to share so much info!
I’m a little behind on the reading, but finding it useful thus far.
Was there a day 4? If so, could you please send it again as I never received it.
    Thanks again.
    Peace, Judi

  36. Intellectually simple but actually co-ordinating it will be the fun and challenging part. Can’t wait to try it!

    ;)

  37. Thanks for all the tips and helpful advice. Your information is clean, simple and direct. I’m telling my blog readers about your 5 day ecourse. I blog about handmade finds and helpful business tips. Thanks for the great info.

  38. Thank you Tim for the lessons!!! They are increadibly useful and sound. Now if I only get the Procrastinator in me out of my way, I know exactly what to do =)

  39. You explained that so well… I know I can do this! Thank you so much for breaking it all down and making it easy to see how and why this works! xoxo

  40. Excellent e-course Tim! Everything is explained so well and it all makes sense when put together. I’m so happy I came across your website and have been following it and learning so much. Thank you for all your effort and generosity.

Just a quick question about StumbleUpon. Are we allowed to stumble are product listings? I thought that constituted trying to sell the product on SU and they don’t like that.

I put up my products on kaboodle but not on SU. Now I am also writing a blog post and putting that on SU.

    Thanks,
    Kavita

    • That is a great question. If you read through the SU terms, no where does it say that you can’t stumble your own links. But it does say if you are using SU for promotional purposes ONLY that is not ok. That is why I teach to stumble other items, links, and posts in conjunction with your own. Follow the steps line for line in the Blitz. I have been doing this for years.

  41. Yesterday I learned something really big about Day #4. We never stop learning, so, always keep your eyes & ears open.
    Thanks again Tim!

    Very gratefully,

    Frank & Marla

  42. I cannot download the .pdf file for Day 3. Can it be sent again? Or, is there somewhere else I can get it?

  43. Thank you for this fabulous course! I came across it just as I am ready to launch my own business (social enterprise with youth at risk/ crafts). It’s the perfect guide to let me know that what I’ve been doing re: social media is working, and to let me know what I can do to make it so much better! Invaluable! HUGE THANKS

  44. Brilliant, many thanks Tim!!! I will put this all into practice next time I list an item. The social bookmarking is totally new for me so I was interested to learn about that part especially.

  45. Tim has done it again for us. This gives a straightforward “to do” list for every listing we do. My big weakness is not blogging, though I’ve had one set up for ages. I’m going to print this “to do” list and keep on my desk so no excuses! Thanks Tim.

  46. Very valuable information shared here! Thanks to Tim and his team for providing Etsy sellers with clear and proven ways to help bolster our businesses. Bravo!!

  47. Great stuff, Tim! This course has really helped me formulate a plan of attack & get more involved with Twitter & starting my own blog. It has helped me organize my approach to listing/selling on Etsy. Really valuable information. Thank you so much!!!

  48. Absolutely wonderful information as always! Thanks so much for the breakdown of info! You are so appreciated!

Thanks Tim! Definitely a must have e-course.

  49. Thank you so much Tim! It’s incredible how much I am learning that I did not know. Thanks again!

  50. this was an awesome ecourse. You are a wealth of information in the true sense! thank you!

  51. Hi Tim! Thank you so much for your free E-course. Great information! Thanks again!

    Best Monika

  52. I loved this! Took me awhile to actually get through it because of life – but I learned a lot :)

  53. I started my internet sales adventure exactly 3 years ago.

  54. Thanks so much for the ecourse – all of the tips are easy to follow and I did notice the change in traffic to my Etsy shop almost immediately.

  55. Hi, I have been really enjoying the course. I have just received day five, and am looking forward to trying out the step-by-step breakdown. I did wonder whether when posting on facebook is ok to post on your personal page, or is it better to create a business page?

  56. simple and somewhat obvious advice, yet your course puts it all up there in a format you feel motivated to stick to
thanks so much for sharing, highly recommended

  57. This course was excellent! Loved the way it was presented! My favorite part of all the material you present is there’s always at least one (usually more)little tidbit that you can implement right away and it makes a huge amount of difference! And the marketing e book is awesome! Thank you!

  58. Hi Tim
I have received days 1, 2, 3 and 5. Is it possible to send me day 4? Thank you.

  59. Tim – THANK YOU for providing this brief simple course that finally puts social media in easy perspective! I will be happy to share your site!

  60. I received day 1 yesterday, but haven’t received day 2 yet. I did my homework last night & excited to move to day 2!
    Thanks!

  61. Thank you so much for sharing such good information! I am really working hard on every step.
I am in Day-4 right now, just have a question . i didnt find the “share” bottom that you say in that file. how can i recommend the item page in stumble? only click “i like it!” bottom?

  62. I admit I am a little behind – I am reading day 5 right now. I have all my accounts set up and I am excited to see how everything will come together.

Thank you very much for all this!

  63. I did the course almost a month ago now and have been using the method…definitely noticing a difference in the number of hits my site receives. I only wish my Google Analytics had been set up properly before I started Social Media Blitz so that I could have a more clear picture of the difference it was making.

Thanks for all the great info!

  64. Thank you so much for this opportunity. Can’t wait :)

  65. I havent yet got my site up, but would really love to learn how to get it functioning well… thanx! :)

  66. not sure how to sign up… just put in my email?? I hope so, thanks!

  67. Just wanted to say thanks. This course was a great help to me. I had no idea about backlinks or how to properly use social media. It has only been a few weeks, but I have already seen a big difference in my views and sales. I’ve recommended this course to people in the team forums who were struggling with exposure and marketing.

  68. I have been following you and HandMadeology from it’s start. I was surprised at how much information you were giving away. Great advice. If you don’t sign up, you really don’t want the traffic.

  69. Tim, Thanks so much for the course. When you start getting into this world, its like learning a foreign language! Your course was straightforward with simple steps to put it all into action. I look forward to seeing the results.
    Continued Success to you.
    Alison

  70. Hi there – have left a comment earlier in the series. Have been helped greatly, but have not been able to complete all the tasks – subject of previous comment. so far, no answer – not unexpected given the number who signed up. Day 3 was the most problematic. Day 4 and previous 2 were OK. Hope that I could not do 3 won’t be a problem for the last day. Thanks for the help, anway. Isobel

  71. So much info packed into a 5-day blitz, I’ve had to save it all for a time when I can really give it my full attention.

Meanwhile, many thanks for putting it all together!

  72. Tim…this e-course is so well laid out and very user friendly for those of us slow to get on the “blitzing” bandwagon. I have two blogs, fb and twitter, but my efforts have been haphazard and except for blogging, haven’t paid off…so now i’ve signed up for the rest and will get into a rhythm of these steps. I like structure, so this is great for me! I too had trouble with Pinterest, and couldn’t sign up, but saw from an earlier comment that they had a waiting list (???)…odd. I need all the sales help I can get, so big THANKS! Cheers, Patti

  73. Tim the e-course is great. So well done, I think I finally get it. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us. Please keep up the great communication. It really means a lot.

  74. I was very happy I took the effort to read all 5 days, easy to follow, well laid out plan.
Simple and right to the point, I have been using different parts but now to have a way in front of me to direct my steps is wonderful!
Thanks so much for sharing this course Tim:)
    Nancy Pace

  75. So excited to check it out! Thanks so much!

  76. Have not had a chance to look over yet. But sounds like very good info. I will let you know how it goes soon! Thanks so much :o)

    Patty @ Patty Moore Designs

  77. Just finished the course and I feel more confident then ever! Thanks Tim!

  78. I’ve read, but part of the information is outdated and no longer relevant. Etsybot has been gone since March 22nd, using that hashtag will no longer get you a potential re-tweet on twitter from them.

If you want to update your information, consider retweetsy or madebyhandbot

  79. What a valuable set of ideas. Thank you so much.

  80. Thanks so much Tim ! I can’t believe how
helpful you’ve been ! God bless you and your bussiness!

  81. This is fantastic thank you soooooo much Timothy you opened my mind :)

  82. I am working on this and it’s funny I was already working in line with it with the blog posting and sharing on facebook but this adds backlinks which I am learning to get right now but I will be glad when all this is in place so I don’t have to be on the computer as much. I will share this with others.

  83. Hi Tim! I must be a ding-a-ling; have not received it after requesting it a while ago. What do I need to do? Thanks!

  84. I’ve completed the course and carried out all of the steps but little difference as yet. Of course my facebook page, blog, twitter, kaboodle etc all have no followers so no one is seeing my efforts.
Looking for advice on how to get followers to each of these media – an idea for a new e-course? Let’s hope so.

    • it does take time to build up your followers… but in the mean time you are building important backlinks to your blog and etsy shop…. so keep up the blitzing!

  85. This was such a great resource and so helpful to me! Thank you!

  86. thank you very much
it is very good and useful info
    go stumble it

  87. Hi Tim,

I am enjoying very much all your tips and wanted to take a moment to thank you for all your great help!
    The ecourse is fantastic!

  88. It sounds like something that will be worthwhile. Thank you.

  89. There is so much information here it’s hard to believe that it’s free.

  90. Thanks, Tim, this was well done. I already do most of what you mentioned. I’m hesitant to tweet my new items, I feel like I’m spamming. I have a constant stream of Etsy folks tweeting their stuff – what’s your take on it?

  91. Thank you very much Timothy for sharing this interesting e-course! will go on working this through:)

  92. Very well put together e-course, to the point, no unneccessary fuzz, just what I needed. I think I can finally stop spamming teams with my new items and focus on marketing out of Etsy!!!

  93. I’ve enjoyed the course and immediately followed the suggestion about blogging the listings. I’ve also signed up for Stumble Upon, and Pinterest. On Facebook I have used the Networked Blogs app so that my blog posts automatically go to my FB and my Twitter feeds. Plus I have the FB share button automatically set to appear on all my posts.

However on Day 4 you say that Etsy listings have Stumble and Digg buttons under share. No, they don’t. According to Stumble Upon’s tech support who I contacted to learn how to enable it, Etsy does not support sharing on Stumble.

I found Digg confusing. You have to be an IT pro to understand how to add a Digg button to your blog posts, and I’m not!

    Thanks for making this available.

  94. Thank you so much, Tim. I found the course very enlightening and will be implementing all of your suggestions! I can see that, when done consistently and together, the whole package nets results. Many thanks! margo

  95. I am very happy and excited!

  96. Hi Tim! Great e-course Social Media, Thank You for sharing so much information. I just opened up my shop and I know I need to get blogging to let people know I’m there. Also I need to get feed back on how my Shop looks and how I’ve worded everything. So I’m on a fast learning curve.
Thank you again all of your info is needed

  97. Thanks – I use a screen reader so some of the steps are not possible unless I have help but I am implementing as many as possible. (Also thanks for helping me with the class format!) . I did implement the Stumbleupon. Again thanks.

  98. I wanted to thank you for the downloads..however I didn’t receive all the pages and when I tried to have them resent..it said I was already a member..help!

  99. Hi Tim..just a heads up…the pages are all received now..thanks! Now to get reading..I already have a page at facebook, a couple of different blogs and a website….so now to get them working as they should be…thanks again!

  100. all I can say and it doesn’t seem like enough is thank you, thank you, thank you. I feel like I’ve found a solution to the needle in haystack problem! Well maybe just a big leg up on it. I found that I was practicing some of the steps but not consistently and persistently enough. You make points in all of the places that matter and have proven results. I can’t believe you’ve shared for free. May all the good you’ve shared come back to you many times over. PS. I didn’t see day one come to my inbox, was that the confirmation page?

  101. Ok so after day one I went into a bit of a panic and felt totally overwhelmed but by day three my head had come above the water again and I was happy to float and ready to learn to swim again.
This is such a big topic to someone new to social networking but it has been invaluable, now that I have finished the course I am ready to go back to the bookmarking sites and carry on learning and exploring.
Thank you so much, this is much better than just stumbling around in the dark.

  102. There’s so much info but you have made simple. I’m trying to get it
    Thanks again for sharing

  103. Tim,

There is a lot of invaluable information here! I really appreciate you giving this out for free. Some of us need this info more now than ever! Lots of people are suffering trying to make ends meet these days, I hope this will help a lots of people to be more successful!

  104. Tim,
Wow! So much info and all of it practical in this five day Social Media Blitz material.
I have started implementing these methods now and have begun to see an upturn in views of my Etsy shop and my blog in just the first four days.
Thank you for making this available to those of us who were unaware or confused about how to use these tools.
I’ll recommend this course to everyone trying to improve their internet business presence.

  105. Hi Tim…I don’t have an Etsy shop yet, but I’m doing research to see if I want one. The information you provided was really helpful, although some of it was a little confusing because I have no experience yet. Thank you for your willingnes to share.

  106. I just went though this course and I’m amazed not only at Timothy’s ability to take the overwhelm out of social media advertising but also at his generosity. This information is superb and I can’t believe he is giving to us for free.

    Thank you for this!

  107. Oops, forgot to say I will definitely spread the word. :)

  108. Thank you so much for a wonderful course. I can only highly recommend it. I found it very informative and easy to understand.

  109. I do appreciate this free advice, but I found some gaps in the implementation of some steps. One issue is Stumbleupon is not available on a Mac running Safari. And I don’t know why bookmarking someone else’s site on my computer adds to the chain of events. And what do you mean share a blog post that is not your own? Isn’t that plagiarism?

    • When you are bookmarking through Stumble upon you are not bookmarking on your computer. It is in a public place on their site… you are rally sharing a cool post or item you found with others Sharing or bookmarking a post from another blog is not plagiarism…you are simply creating a link or bookmark so others can see it.

  110. Hi Tim
I can’t believe how useful, easy to follow and understand this it! You break it down into such manageable parts, I don’t feel overwhelmed,I feel ready to get to work with your information.
You are great teacher..thank you from a new member of the Etsy seller community.
    Bonnie

  111. These were great, but I’m not sure if I’m missing something here or not… I do not see any kind of general ‘Share’ button on my etsy listings. All I see is the Twitter button and the Facebook like/share buttons.

    Can anyone help me?

  112. Tim thanks so much for all your advice! I do have a question, I am at the point where I am trying to share my listing with Stumbleupon but I am not seeing a share button. Am I missing something or have things changed on Etsy?

    Appreciate your time and advice.
    Renee

  113. Sign up do the coarse. You won’t regret it!

  114. fantastic! just finished this course and started applying the steps. i always wondered how to keep the numbers going up and i’m amazed by how well this works. so easy, yet so effective. thanks Tim!!

  115. I enjoyed the course very much. I enjoy how things are always put in bite-sized pieces so they are easy to sort of process so that it all makes sense, I like that it all came together on the last day too.

Thanks so much Tim, you rock!

  116. Just finished the Social Media Blitz and am anxious to put into place all the steps taught in the course. Thanks so much!!

  117. I just finished your e-course.
Thank you so much!! I absolutely love it!

I just posted to my blog, and featured you!
    http://mrskristenscreations.wordpress.com/

I will definitely be reading through more of your blog, and getting more involved.
    You guys are awesome!!

  118. My only regret in taking this course (but it’s a big one) is how outdated much of the information is. Facebook and Etsy have both changed how and what you can do, and this course fails to reflect those changes. The intent is good and wonderful – the execution leaves a lot to be desired. Once updated, I would love to take it again!
