Spotlight Feature – Sara Lynch

I’m an artist that lives, works, and created on the edge of Northern
NY. I went to school for painting and ceramics and have always been an

One day I was looking at two beautiful antique flowers I had found at
a church rummage sale. They were so nice I couldn’t decide what to do
with them. Suddenly, I realized I had most of the supplies to make
amazing jewelery. I went out and purchased the necessary hardware and
I have been making jewelery ever since.

I love finding interesting old things at rummage sales and imagining
what I can make them into. The older women who often run the sales are
amazing to talk to as well. They are thrilled when I fill up grocery
bags with treasures I found in their sale that the average person
would pass over. I aim to give my found treasures a new life as a
meaningful piece of art or jewelery. I hope you will be a part of my
treasures’ life.
