Wonderful selection of handmade wedding finds!!
Because of our proximity to Bali, a lot of Australian couples choose to marry and honeymoon on the Island of the Gods so I’m breaking the mould on wedding accessories. I have a selection of small handpainted coconut shell tiles that can be added to wedding invitations and other accessories such as gift bags. They have words like ‘Bali’ and ‘Namaste’ handpainted in the Hindi-like Samarkan font.
A Melbourne bride-to-be recently bought a batch of tiles with ‘Bali’ handpainted in the beautiful Balinese Carakan script that she’s planning to stitch onto the giftbags for guests at her Bali wedding in October. She found me after reading in an Aussie bridal magazine that Etsy was a great place to shop for wedding accessories.
Some very sweet items here!
I am blessed to paint for many brides and families and enjoy the romance of the shy young man who ordered a special ring box so he could propose and all the other wonderful customers — it’s like enjoying my own wedding all over again!
