USPS 2011 Holiday Shipping Deadlines – Let Your Customers Know

As you know the holiday shopping is already here. If you want your packages to be delivered by December 25th, be sure to follow the 2011 holiday shipping cut off dates. Let your customers know by posting these dates in your shop announcement.
2011 USPS holiday cut off dates
The Postal Service wants to make sure that you send all of your holiday mail in time for your family and friends to receive and enjoy for the holidays. Therefore, in order to ensure timely delivery of your cards, letters or packages, please note the shipping deadlines for the following different types of mail:

| FIRST CLASS MAIL® | DEC. 20 |
| PRIORITY MAIL® | DEC. 21 |
| EXPRESS MAIL® | DEC. 22 (Check your local Post Office) |
| PARCEL POST® | DEC. 15 |
Following is a list of related holiday dates:
- First night of Hanukkah (Chanukah ) – Dec. 20th at Sunset
- Christmas Eve – Dec. 24th
- Christmas Day – Dec. 25th
- Kwanzaa – Dec. 26, 2011 – Jan. 1, 2012

Thanks for the reminder! I have deadlines based on these dates posted in my announcements, adjusted so I can get all the custom work done in time.
I’ve also noted that shipping upgrades are always an option for my customers.
